The network opened the Transformations Forum at the international scientific symposium “Value Transformations in Arab Societies,” on June 17, 2021, in partnership with the International Center for Human Sciences from the city of Byblos in Lebanon, and with the participation of a number of Arab scientific institutions and academics. The symposium sought to monitor and analyze the transformations taking place in the issue of values in Arab societies due to multiple influences, especially the digital revolution, which constituted a major value revolution, especially for the youth group. The researchers discussed the reasons for Arab societies reaching the stage of disintegration and what the issue of intermingling identities across continents led to. The symposium also focused on how Arab countries can keep up with the participation of the historical movement revived by social media. While some interventions touched on specialized topics and revealed their repercussions on values, such as the issue of globalized terrorism, which posed a major threat to values and social peace, some interventions also focused on legal aspects, their applications, and their relationship to values and their transformations in the Arab world.
