Since its inception, the network has been keen to integrate international scientific institutions interested in studying Arab societies, given the transformations the world is witnessing that are reflected in the Arab region. In this context, and in continuous keeping up with the issue of Arab youth migration and their interaction with host societies, including the State of Germany, the network, in cooperation with the German-Maghreb Foundation for Culture and Media, organized a digital symposium via the Zoom application entitled “The Future of Maghreb Youth in Germany: Promising Opportunities and Challenges” On July 1, 2022. An elite group of Maghreb talents in Germany participated in it. The symposium discussed aspects of the development of the situation of Maghreb youth in Germany, and also touched on the most prominent challenges they face in terms of integration, work, and the issue of identity. The symposium concluded with a discussion of prospects for improving the conditions of Maghreb youth in Germany and ways to address the challenges they face.
