The International Network for the Study of Arab Societies, in partnership with the Center for Middle Eastern Studies – ORSAM and Istanbul University, held the first ENAS Forum for public institutions and research centers under the title “The Role of Research Centers and their Importance in Developing Scientific Knowledge” on July 12 and 13, 2021
The themes of the forum focused on the role of research centers and their importance in developing scientific knowledge. The participants who are members of the network stopped at presenting some Arab experiences in this field, Especially in terms of the challenges facing scientific institutions and hindering their role in the development of knowledge production. The knowledge framework of this forum was an entry point for discussion and deliberation among members on the work of the International Network for the Study of Arab Societies, through an evaluative, evaluative and forward-looking pause on the prospects for development and ways to activate networking between the scientific and research institutions members of the network. More than 60 Arab and international scientific and research institutions affiliated with the network from various countries participated in this meeting in person and via the Zoom application.
